Newcomers to eventing, twins Katie and Sarah Stockum came  1st and 2nd in Jr BN! It was good to see Cindy Pursell back at QRF; this time as their trainer. Congrats!

Felicia Abbott won Sr BN and husband Jeff made all the wonderful  woodworking items on display!

Allison Sumrow won our Novice division.

Meghan Markham, who has been training my mare Natiki (Niki) achieved two super scores(HC) in Dressage Tr2 and Nov.  I am so proud of what you have accomplished with Niki!  Thank you Meghan!

Thank you Beth Sorensen for displaying your lovely selection of saddles  Thank you Lori Schwinnen for giving my Niki a wonderful massage after her classes!

Thank You to Judge Ana Schravesande for coming to our little show.  Ana judges all over America and Latin America and we are honored to have her as our friend and judge.

Her daughter Adri Doyal now an official FEI Course Designer!  Adri has built some of our cross country fences and she also helped with the Derby all day yesterday!

Thanks to Samantha Garbarino  who was our super starter timer and to Kim Mayfield our finish timer and Jump Judge.  Thanks to Elizabeth and daughter Rachel Womack who were Jump Steward and Jump Judge.

Thanks to Team Hackett, John, Nicole and daughters Tia and Luci who helped with Dressage and our other Pony Clubbers who helped pick up poles in Show Jumping!

It takes a Village to run a show!  Thank you to everyone who made it happen!  I hope that I have not forgotten too many other helpers.  Please, continue to show your support to your show organizers, even if you can only spare a few minutes to give a volunteer a potty or a coffee break!

Congratulations to everyone who rode and helped make this show happen!  You are all winners in my mind! Ribbons are just the icing on the cake-as well as being the world’s most expensive fabric!

Hope to see you April 9th and 10th for our Spring Horse Trials!

Best wishes,

Jan and Peter Walling.
