The Quail Run Farm 2021 Annual Fall Horse Trial & Combined Test on Sunday, October 31, 2021 registration is OPEN!  Go to www.PearlsOffice.com to enter today!

Cross Country Schooling available on Saturday, October 30, 2021 pre-registration REQUIRED. Scoring is based on USEA horse trial rules. 18 inches (Tadpole) to Preliminary heights offered in CT, Prelim will jump Training course for HT. Ribbons awarded through 6th Place, divisions will be combined according to entries, for each competition height. This is an open schooling show for Adult Amateurs, Junior/Young Riders and Trainers/Professionals.

Height & Tests Offered:

Intro (up to 18 inches, known to QRF as TADPOLE)  Dressage test is USDF 2019 Intro Test B

Jumpstart (2’) Dressage test is USEF BN Test A 2018 (If you wish to compete in this division, please enter as Starter then send an email to Pearl@Pearlsoffice.com and they will adjust your division.)

Starter (2’3″, known to QRF as Pre-BN)  Dressage test is USEF BN Test A 2018

Beginner Novice (2’7″) Dressage test is Beginner Novice Test B 2018

Novice (2’11”) Dressage test is USEF Novice Test B 2018

Training (3’3″) Dressage test is USEF Training Test B 2018

Preliminary (3’7″) Dressage test is USEF Preliminary Test A 2018

Ride A Test with Becky Brown (L*) Saturday, May 22, 2021 ~ Enter Today!

Quail Run Farm is happy to announce the return of Becky Brown who will Judge a Ride A Test Saturday, May 22 (Rain Date is Sunday, May 23) Closing Date is May 20, 2021. 

Ride times will be sent out by Friday, Friday, May 21 or ASAP as we fill. We anticipate that it will fill fast, and entries will be accepted by post-date. Checks will NOT be deposited until Monday, May 24. Cancellations before 24 hours will have checks shredded if place can be filled from the anticipated wait list.  If you wish to mail your form, print it here.  If you enter online, you will receive a refund minus the $10 tech fee.  (Note: There is no office fee for this event.)

Becky is one of the most qualified Judges and Instructors in our area, her qualifications include:

USEA ICP Level ii

USDF Judge with Honors

USH/JA Judge

British Horse Society Instructor

Chair of the USEA Youth Membership Committee

Past President of DDC. And an active upper–level Dressage Competitor and Volunteer!

Mother of ICP Trainer, Rebecca Brown! 

For those unfamiliar with Ride A Test format, the rider chooses her test and rides it before Becky. While the test is being scored, Becky will discuss the test and instruct the rider on how to improve upon her weaknesses. The rider will then have the opportunity, to RE RIDE the test and improve her score! OR continue to have a mini lesson!

Tests will be scheduled every 30 minutes and the cost will be $50 per lesson.

We will start at 9 AM. Please select a time which best suits your schedule. I will do my very best to fit you in as closely as possible to your preferred time. I anticipate that slots will fill up fast. Please sign up ASAP. Your check will not be deposited until the weekend of the R.A.T. If canceled, checks will be shredded!

Remember that this is also a XC Schooling Day, so morning slots will fill first for those schooling XC.

Those XC Schooling MUST PRE–REGISTER with Release, Coggins and Check. We will not take “Walk Ins” Due to Social Distancing and Covid Restrictions. Masks will be worn except when mounted.
